The Covenant Foundation and the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life are proud to present a very special Southern States Jewish Music Series. Two concerts will take place this November in cities continuing to rebuild in the wake of devastating storms: Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi. These two nights of music, a gift from the Covenant Foundation to honor the resilience of these communities, will feature performances by the Robyn Helzner Trio.
With dynamic vocal harmonies and exquisite musicianship, the Robyn Helzner Trio connects audiences to the vibrant world of Jewish music. From the exuberant melodies of modern Israel to the folk songs of Eastern Europe, from the love songs of Spain to the eclectic compositions of contemporary North America, the Trio’s amazing energy, broad repertoire and signature song arrangements have won them wide and enthusiastic acclaim.
