Presented by the American Institute of Architects Baton Rouge
The process of architecture is mysterious. Each architect has their own approach to the initial spark that becomes a project. The various and inherent constraints of any project, such as the owner's needs, budget, code requirements and gravity, as well as the architect's aesthetic interests and the process of construction itself provide endless opportunities to shape architecture. The projects in this exhibition were chosen for their design excellence by an independent jury including some of the most respected architects in the Boston area. These entries are a part of the American Institute of Architects Baton Rouge Rose Awards held in July each year and are exemplary examples by AIA Baton Rouge architects.
