Baton Rouge, La. - Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Leslie Dozier as Director of Development and Donor Relations. She has previously served in leadership roles with various local nonprofits and as philanthropic consultant to several international and national organizations
With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit fund development, organizational management, and community relations, she brings a passionate perspective to the performing arts and a wide range of knowledge of all aspects of philanthropy, including annual giving, major gift donor relations, capital campaigns, and corporate partnerships.
“Leslie brings years of experience as a fundraiser and a performing artist to Manship Theatre. We believe that she is the perfect person to take our development to new levels,” said Ralph Bender, Member of Manship Theatre’s Board of Directors.
As Director of Development and Donor Relations, Dozier will lead the fundraising programs, including grants, memberships, corporate relations, and special events to further the vision and mission of Manship Theatre. Manship Theatre is Baton Rouge’s premier nonprofit venue for theatre, film, music, dance, and the performing arts and provides arts educational outreach to students and community partners in the eleven parish area.
A native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of the LSU School of Music and Dramatic Arts, her background provides unique qualifications and insights for this role.
She is an active member of AFP - Association of Fundraising Professionals, Baton Rouge Chapter.
