6 Playwrights.  6 Directors.  18 Actors.
Imagining six 10-minute raw impressions of the national theme“No Place Like Home”, focusing on local health disparities

Six short plays created over the span of 48 hours and performed live on Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m.

A whirlwind 3-days of play creation with local artists will culminate with one live performance on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 7 PM.  Participating artists’ details are below. Tickets are available at www.manshiptheatre.org.  Patrons will be able to purchase for $17 in advance online.  Tickets will also be available at the door for $25.

Founded in 2010, Harlem9 is a collaborative producing organization, comprised of a group Black theatre professionals from various backgrounds.  Our mission is to produce together, exploring the past, present and future of black culture, celebrating its rich and diverse history of storytelling.
