About the Filmmaker:

Richie Adams is an award-winning filmmaker/title designer (’Babel,’ ‘CREED,’ ‘Ad Astra’) who cut his teeth under the mentorship of iconic title designer, Richard Greenberg (’Alien,’ ‘Superman,’ ‘The Matrix’), and has since worked with many of the giants in the motion picture industry under his Baton Rouge-based company RRC (www.rrc.la) including Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, James Gray, Doug Liman, David Frankel and newcomer Ryan Coogler.

As writer/director, his 2016 feature ‘Of Mind and Music’ featuring Oscar Nominees Aunjanue Ellis, and Ruth Negga with Joaquim De Almeida was released to critical acclaim, winning many juried/audience awards. Adams was also the co-writer, director, and producer of the 2018 award-winning, critically-acclaimed short film ‘AMERICAN,’ starring George Takei.

His most recent feature, The Road Dance, had its world premiere at the 2021 Edinburgh Film Festival where the film took home the Audience Award for Best Feature, then went on to win several other awards including the Jury Prize for Best Feature at 2022 Manchester Film Festival, preceding a theatrical run as a “Top 20 Arthouse Film” in UK theaters, and most recently the Audience Award for Best Feature Drama at the 2023 Sedona International Film Festival.

Adams, an alumni of Catholic High school, resides in Baton Rouge and is currently involved in the development of several feature film projects.
