About the film: Fanboy follows Allen, a socially awkward young man on a personal pilgrimage to Columbus, Ohio, where he immerses himself in the world of college football in hopes of reconnecting with his estranged father. As the 2014 football season unfolds, Allen becomes lost in a whirlwind of sensory overload and culture shock. With no clear plan, he must decide whether to settle into his new surroundings at his father's alma mater or take bold, sometimes reckless steps to carve out a place for himself.
