Songwriting great Paul Thorn spent his early life as a nationally-ranked prizefighter. After retiring from boxing, Paul began a second career as a singer/songwriter. In 1997 Thorn signed A&M Records and released his acclaimed debut, "Hammer and Nail." Fourteen independently released albums have followed, mostly on Paul's own Perpetual Obscurity label. "Pimps and Preachers" was a breakout hit album in 2010 and started a run of albums that made several of the Billboard charts. Paul's most recent album, "Never Too Late To Call," was released during the pandemic.
