Lightwire Theater’s The Ugly Duckling

Recommended for all ages, but please note that theatre will turn completely dark once the performance begins so that you can see the lit characters and props.

This performance uses larger than life puppets with LED lighting to tell stories. This unique performance captivates kids and adults of all ages with its visual complexity.

Lightwire Theater brings a classic tale to the modern stage utilizing light, music, and technology. Lined with electroluminescent wire, the beloved story of The Ugly Duckling plays out on stage through a cutting-edge blend of puppetry and dance. Based in New Orleans, this internationally traveling theater production is a unique and truly incredible experience.

Take a 3D tour of Manship Theatre! No matter where you sit, you'll feel close to the action. The first and second mezzanines are positioned over the orchestra ring, so every seat offers an intimate, exciting view of the stage.
