John Pizzarelli & Catherine Russell: Two Legendary Singers Share the Stage

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Catherine Russell joins world-renowned guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader John Pizzarelli for an unforgettable evening celebrating the timeless charm of the Great American Songbook. Dubbed “the essential duo,” they transport audiences to the golden era of jazz with unmatched artistry.

Hailed by The Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook,” Pizzarelli has collaborated with music legends from Natalie Cole to James Taylor, earning a Grammy Award as co-producer of American Standard. His repertoire spans classics by Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim, and the Beatles.

Praised by NPR for “a voice that wails like a horn and whispers like a snake in the Garden of Eden,” Russell has toured on four continents, delivering soulful, witty interpretations of songs from the 1920s to today. Together, Pizzarelli and Russell promise a masterclass in swing, sophistication, and pure musical joy.
